25 July 2026 (Saturday) – Tadika Sri Mentari Ria (Tasik Prima & Puchong Prima) successfully hosted its Sports Day 2026, bringing together children, parents, and teachers for a fun-filled day of sports, teamwork, and joyful moments.
Designed to encourage children to stay active and learn through play, the Sports Day provided opportunities for them to develop their coordination, balance, concentration, confidence, and teamwork skills. With exciting activities prepared for different age groups, the event created a lively and enjoyable experience for everyone.
🐾 Marching In with Team Spirit
One of the highlights of the opening ceremony was the marching and class cheers, where each group proudly represented a different animal. With their unique animal identities, enthusiastic cheers, and confident smiles, the children brought plenty of energy to the event.
The children then came together for Negaraku, the Selangor Song, and cheerful school songs, followed by a warm-up session and a speech. The lively opening helped create a strong sense of team spirit and excitement for the activities ahead.
🏅 Little Athletes, Big Challenges
The excitement continued as the children took part in a variety of fun and engaging sports activities. From balancing and tossing challenges to hopping, running, and coordination-based games, each activity encouraged the children to stay active while having fun with their friends.
Through these challenges, the young athletes had opportunities to practise their gross motor skills, balance, coordination, concentration, and teamwork. More importantly, the activities encouraged them to participate confidently, try their best, and enjoy the experience of friendly competition.

The fun continued as parents joined the Sports Day activities, creating opportunities for families to play, laugh, and take on challenges together.
With a range of entertaining games prepared for different age groups, parents actively participated alongside the children and added even more energy and laughter to the celebration. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to create meaningful memories together beyond the classroom.

The teachers also joined in the fun with their own special game, bringing plenty of laughter and excitement to the event. Their enthusiastic participation showed that Sports Day was a celebration for the entire school community.
