From an adorable infant race and exciting children’s games to parent challenges and a competitive tug of war, the day was packed with activities for the whole family to enjoy.
More than just a day of sports, the event created meaningful opportunities for children and families to stay active, build confidence, develop teamwork, and create happy memories together.
📣 Cheering for Their Teams
Before the games began, each team proudly showed off their own special cheer! Each team brought their favourite Tsum Tsum character to life with a special cheer inspired by their character. From Mickey and Pooh to Stitch and Lotso, children, parents, and teachers joined in with energetic chants and playful moves that matched their team’s character. The lively cheers filled the field with excitement and team spirit, making a fun and memorable start to the sports day.
💃 Warming Up with Some Zumba Moves
The morning began with a cheerful Zumba warm-up, getting both children and parents moving before the games started. With upbeat music and simple dance movements, everyone loosened up and got into the sporty mood. It was a fun and energetic start to the morning.
👶 The Littlest Racers Take the Field
One of the sweetest highlights of the day was the Infant Game: Diaper Dash. The youngest participants took to the field while parents and teachers cheered them on. Their tiny movements, curious expressions, and adorable reactions quickly became a crowd favourite. It was a heartwarming moment that showed how every child, no matter how small, could be part of the Tsum Tsum-themed celebration.
🏃 Little Legs, Big Determination
The children then took on a series of playful and age-appropriate sports challenges. Each game was designed to keep the children active while helping them develop important physical and social skills. Through running, balancing, moving, and working together, the children practised gross motor skills, coordination, balance, teamwork, problem-solving, and confidence.
👨👩👧 Parents Join the Competition
The fun didn’t stop with the children; the daddies were ready to bring their A-game! The World Cup game quickly turned up the excitement, with dads giving it their all on the field while their little ones cheered loudly from the sidelines. The competitive spirit was REAL, with plenty of running, laughter, and intense moments along the way!
The excitement continued with the Tug of War, where parents battled it out with strength and teamwork. Beyond the friendly competition, these games gave families a chance to let loose, have fun, and create unforgettable memories together.
🏅 Celebrating Every Effort
The morning wrapped up with an Award Ceremony and Closing, where the participation, effort, and determination of the children and parents were celebrated.
Every little achievement mattered, from completing a race and trying a new challenge to encouraging teammates and cheering for friends. The awards gave everyone a chance to celebrate their efforts and remember the fun they shared throughout the day.
