“Wow, my usually talkative Ryenea has, for a moment, become well-mannered, polite, and even shy,” I thought to myself. There she was, guided by her teacher, walking up to her daddy to serve him a cup of tea, and then later, to me. In a white cheongsam with a red flowery pattern that hugs her little body perfectly, I watched my little girl mindfully serve tea as part of a symbolic gesture of teaching filial piety, respect and honouring their parents. She then hugged me. This simple yet powerful tea serving ceremony not only taught our little ones about respect, but also gave us, as parents, a chance to appreciate the values being instilled in them. It's heartwarming to see a school that goes beyond just academics and nurtures life-long values like gratitude and respect. Thank you, Superfun Learners, for creating lasting memories like, allowing parents and kids to bond.
