Tadika Sri Johan Setia’s Sports Day 2025: A Celebration of Energy, Laughter, and Learning

[26 July 2025, Saturday] – Tadika Sri Johan Setia came alive with cheers, laughter, and excitement as children, parents, and teachers gathered for the much-anticipated Sports Day 2025. The event was not just about competition but about creating lasting memories, strengthening family bonds, and showing how play can be a powerful form of learning.

A Joyful Beginning

The day kicked off with a vibrant Welcome Dance, where the children showcased their energy and enthusiasm. With bright smiles and lively movements, their performance set the perfect tone for a fun-filled and meaningful event ahead.

Exciting Sports Day Activities

The children had a blast participating in a variety of fun and energetic games designed to challenge both body and mind. Among the crowd’s favorites were the Kangaroo Hop, Obstacle Race, and Hula & Sticks. Each activity encouraged balance, coordination, and teamwork while letting the children burn off energy in the most joyful way possible.

Carefully Designed Activities with Sensory Play

What made this Sports Day extra special was how some activities were infused with sensory play. For example, in Squeeze Me, children squeezed water from sponges into a container as quickly as possible, strengthening their hand muscles and fine motor skills. Another exciting game was Passing the Ping Pong (From Water to Basket), where participants scooped ping pong balls from water tanks into baskets — a task that tested patience, concentration, and steady hands while keeping the fun alive.

Parents Joining the Fun

One of the most heartwarming parts of the day was seeing parents actively join in the games alongside their children. The Sarong Race was a huge hit, as children sat on sarongs while their parents pulled them across the track. The laughter, teamwork, and bonding made it a beautiful reminder that Sports Day is truly a family celebration.

More than just a sport

Sports Day at Tadika Sri Johan Setia was not just about winning or losing. It was about teamwork, perseverance, and encouragement. Teachers accompanied the children every step of the way, ensuring safety while also cheering them on to never give up. Parents smiled proudly as they watched their little ones tackle challenges, and even when a child didn’t win, they were celebrated for their effort and spirit.

As the event came to a close, it was clear that Sports Day 2025 was more than just a competition. It was a day of growth, joy, and togetherness. Through play, children discovered their strengths, built confidence, and learned life lessons that go beyond the field.

At Tadika Sri Johan Setia, Sports Day is not only about physical fitness — it’s about nurturing happy, confident, and resilient children, while strengthening the bond between school and families.
