The teachers are always bright, intelligent, and dedicated. They provide a well-balanced education in English, Chinese, Bahasa Melayu, and Mathematics. In addition to academics, the curriculum includes a variety of crafts and intellectual activities, making learning both engaging and enjoyable. The school facilities are new, clean, and highly functional. Meals, including lunch and morning and afternoon snacks, are freshly prepared by the school’s kitchen staff. Parents can conveniently receive updates and communicate with teachers through a smartphone app, which has been incredibly helpful and reassuring.

We started Treetops Montessori in January 2022, and as expected, there were many tears during the first week, understandable for a child who had always been in the comfort of family. However, Teacher Andrea and Teacher Vahnetah gave us constant updates and reassuring messages, encouraging us to trust them and the process. And voilà! We now have a child who looks forward to going to school every morning. We know he’s in the best hands because he’s always so happy at pick-up time and eagerly shares his joyful experiences at school. The teachers at Treetops Montessori consistently go above and beyond, creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow and learn at their own pace. They truly believe that every child is unique. We are so glad we chose Treetops for our child. ❤️

Both of my sons attended Treetops for four years, and we couldn’t be more grateful. The teachers are amazing, so full of heart and care. The school provides a warm, cozy, and loving environment for learning. The best years of Nehashinie’s life were spent at Treetops, from age 4 to 6. She went from being a “reluctant to go to school” child to one who “can’t wait to go to school” every morning! Amanda started her kindergarten journey at age 4 in Treetops Montessori. At the time, she had a speech delay and barely spoke, even after attending 10 sessions of speech therapy with slow progress. But just a month after joining Treetops, Teacher Vahnetah told me that Amanda could read! 😅 I often saw her holding books at home but didn’t realize she could actually read. Over time, she blossomed into a little chatterbox — all within the same year. I truly believe it's thanks to the nurturing environment provided by the school, and the dedication of the amazing teachers and principal. ❤️ I can’t thank them enough, and I’m so grateful to have enrolled all my children here. Even my second daughter, Zaraa (6), who didn’t speak Mandarin and was shy at first, has now blended in beautifully with her friends. I can’t wait to see the progress of my youngest, Ismael, who is 4 this year and just started at Treetops! 😍

This kindergarten truly respects each child’s individuality. My son, who moves at his own pace, was never forced to participate; instead, the patient teachers supported him until he was ready to join voluntarily. Despite starting with zero English, the school thoughtfully accommodated his needs, even allowing him to take a step back when necessary, which I deeply appreciate. His “my pace” attitude didn’t change after moving to Malaysia, but once he found something that interested him, he fully immersed himself. The teachers prioritize what the child wants to learn and adapt flexibly, creating a nurturing environment that helped my son grow freely and confidently. My younger daughter attended this kindergarten, starting with almost no English, but thanks to the kindness of all the teachers, she quickly adapted. Under the Montessori method, the school respects each child’s independence, allowing her to grow freely and follow her curiosity. At the same time, academic skills are emphasized with daily homework and weekly spelling tests, helping her build a solid foundation in both English and Chinese. The school also holds many events aligned with Malaysian cultural and religious celebrations, providing a great environment for children to experience and understand diverse cultures from an early age. I highly recommend this kindergarten, especially to Japanese families planning to move to Johor Bahru, as it offers a unique experience that you won’t find in typical Japanese kindergartens.

Since 2013, my children have attended Treetops Montessori, and over the past eight years, all three of my kids have completed their preschool education here. The comprehensive Montessori curriculum, quality teaching materials, and highly qualified teachers made me never consider any other school. The principal and teachers communicate clearly about each child’s progress and daily experiences, and as parents, we have also learned to fully engage in our children’s activities rather than just be spectators. In these eight years, not once has any of my children said they didn’t want to go to school. I believe that a happy mindset is essential for joyful learning.
